Is Currenxie a good choice?
Best considered by internationally active small and medium-sized businesses that value local collections and volume-based conversion pricing.
Best for
- Online sellers collecting in foreign currencies
- Businesses making regular supplier or payroll payments
- Companies whose monthly conversion volume can earn lower pricing
Currenxie pricing at a glance
Currenxie describes its conversion price as a current exchange rate plus a disclosed percentage charge. The exact charge is shown in the account and depends on the currencies and the customer's agreed pricing.
This is a USD-to-EUR currency-conversion example. Your exact price may differ by country and by how you pay and receive the money.

About Currenxie
Currenxie was founded in 2014 and is based in Hong Kong, with regulated group companies in markets including the UK and Ireland. It built its service around the collection and payment needs of cross-border businesses.
The company currently reports more than 13,000 clients and more than $15 billion moved. Its products range from a web-based Global Account to payment infrastructure for larger companies and financial providers.
How Currenxie pricing works
Eligible Global Account customers can move into lower pricing bands as their completed monthly conversion volume rises. The band resets at the start of each month.
Account registration, local payment and international wire charges depend on the entity and service. Review the fees displayed during application and in the account instead of treating one public example as a worldwide price.
What else you get
Local collection accounts
Businesses can receive supported currencies through local account details, then hold, convert or pay from one account.
Tools for repeat business payments
Team access, batch payments, cards, accounting links and an API support more complex payment operations.
Strengths and trade-offs
Reasons to choose Currenxie
- Built specifically for cross-border business collections and payments
- Published volume bands can reward regular higher-value conversion
- Useful choice of web, mobile and API access
Reasons to compare alternatives
- Not available for personal transfers
- Country, account and payment availability depends on the company being onboarded
- Registration and transaction charges can make it less attractive for occasional low-value use
Support and account checks
Applications are completed online, with further questions handled by email or phone when needed.
Currenxie checks the business, authorised users, directors and owners and may require a video identity check.
It may request invoices, contracts, the purpose of a payment or evidence showing where funds came from, and can delay a payment while those checks are completed.
When to look elsewhere
Choose Airwallex for a broader card, expenses and payment-acceptance suite, Wise Business for simpler self-service pricing, or Payoneer when marketplace payments are the main reason for the account.
Large investment-related exchange?
For a large currency conversion that is part of genuine investing or trading in the account, compare Interactive Brokers first: its pricing can be difficult to beat. IBKR is a brokerage, not a stand-alone transfer service; use a transfer specialist for cash pickup or a direct payment to someone else.
What to know before you use Currenxie
Published network numbers describe the group as a whole; the exact collection and payment countries available to a customer depend on the company serving that account.
A lower volume band applies only after the stated monthly threshold is reached and does not carry into the next month.
Check whether a local payment is available before choosing a wire, because bank and wire charges can change the final amount received.
